As a tall girl I believe that it’s crucial to avoid wearing baggy clothing and instead select pieces that are tailored, to give me more of a shape. That’s one of the reasons I’ve never really gravitated towards tunics, but I really liked the classic color palette of this one and I wanted to try it out.
Originally when I put it on, I thought “I love the colors, but it doesn’t do much for my frame” (and I get it, tunics are supposed to be free flowing, but that’s not really my style) then I realized the solution was simple: add a belt. And BOOM! the belt provided the instant shape I was looking for.
In addition, instead of going for the typical black skinny jeans, I opted for white ones, because the color contrast creates dimension and allows the detailing of the tunic to really pop. Plus, white jeans makes this outfit way more fun and fabulous!
This tunic is the perfect amount of comfy, cozy, and lightweight and this was a great outfit to run around the city in, all day.
Not to mention with minimal effort, this outfit is instantly turned into an evening look: stay tuned for my next post to see how I changed it up.
Much love and Stay Fabulous,
